Looks amazing in motion, too. I figured Climax's Moto GP series would be the king of motorcycle games until they quit, but this just blew it away from as far as I can tell, and already just flat out looked more fun.

There's loads of pictures in the SCEI game line-up brochure that they're giving out at the show, which I'm sure someone will scan tonight. It's PS2 and basically using the GT4 engine by the looks of things (especially the "bike select" screens which even use the same colour selection method).

Yeah, SSX himself beat me to it though I'm not sure if he linked to the same footage...that's what I get for slowly typing my post with one hand...and before any of you perverts get any ideas it was because I was rubbing one off

bike models look really great, can't wait to get this game. hopefully it comes before next riding season

I think I saw a tiny bit of Leguna Seca. Sweet fuck, the corkscrew is hell for proper weight-transfer. Definately looking forward to this. C'mon XBox and Gamecube! Where's the competition for 2006? PS2 kicking ass all day long.

I DO NOT SEE SELF SHADOWING.

WTF PS3... WTF!?!?!
I gotta know, was this really a joke...or were you serious?

WOW, that looks fantastic in motion! I should have gussed it too, as their "driver animation" in GT4 was absolutely unreal looking. Applying that to bikes, where the rider is always viewable, seems to REALLY work.

it was a freaking joke. I come back and see this thread now and I'm like...... Wow..... people thought I was serious!?!?!? :lol

From all the DoA self shadowing talk I figured.... ah, it needs to be shared.... even to the grimmy old PS2. :)

Whoa, Damage Control! :lol

I can't blame you though - it's because most next-gen titles DO look like current gen titles, it's easy to get them mixed up unlike in the past.
