I have never owned an iPhone before, but recently picked up the 11.

Aside from the media apps like Netflix and such I don't know what are good or useful apps.

I don't even know how this damn thing works!

I don't know what I have been missing. Like I don't know what good apps are? I have Snapchat.

I like music and politics and video games and movies/tv, motorcycles.

Google Translate, Shazam, apps you use for deliveries (food or grocery), amazon, paypal, ebay, discord, netlfix

Moving from Android to iOS, you will see that vast majority of the Apps you liked available on iOS. The App Store tends to be a little bit better vetted than the Google Play Store.

Specific questions I could probably answer in whatever detail you need, but generally when people make that switch, they retain a desire to do things their way instead of the way the iOS device is designed to do it.

Apple spends a LOT of attention to the user interface and human interaction functions. Let the device do things the way it wants, and let it teach you to interact with it and you'll find after that month it's tough to imagine going back.


If you like any type of electronic music creation, Beathawk is amazing, btw. Well worth the buy.

Make sure to organize your pages as there is likely a shitload if useless icons you can delete. For the ones you want to keep (or have to keep as Apple doesn't let you delete some), make folders and organize.

Welcome to the walled garden. TBH the only real difference for me is iMessage and I don't know about you but my my entire social circle has iPhones so I got tired of that. The 11 pro max is a really good phone, I'm happy with it.
