A friend of mine messed up his computer looking at porn. Another one down. I'm gonna try and get him on Firefox but any help with the immediate problem would be good. When he searches a topic on any search engine, he gets the results. But when he clicks one of these pages it redirects him to a porn site. Any ideas how to fix it?

EDIT: And even as I try to sumbit this thread it jumps to a porn site.

Update and run the first two...try to make the Ad aware test as exhaustive as possible
Do the last one when you have an hour or so of free time...I still recommend using AVG Free as resident virus protection

Sounds like his Internet Explorer is being hijacked in which case Microsoft's AntiSpyware Beta tool is quite good at fixing:

It's not foolproof, but it should cover a few spots Spyboy and AdAware miss, as well as getting his IE back in shape.

Anyway, yeah, I used system restore for immdediate problem fixing. Believe me, with netzero it's a fucking chore to download the shit that will help him. It was fixed after that, and I got him ad-aware and told him to get firefox with ad block. Thanks for help though.
