It's like a louder Helplessness Blues. It sounds beautiful but I've yet to find it enjoyable, I need to give it more listens

This album is incredible. Hard to believe that most of the albums I've been looking forward to have turned out great. Now all I need is the Grizzly Bear album to be good.

This might end up my album of the year or at least in the top five. The structure of this album feels more like a jazz record. It's a beautiful album all the way through.

It definitely feels more complex than previous efforts. Apart from third of may and on another ocean nothing seems to jump out at me. I guess I must give it a few more listens, I found it just went by without much of a presence.

Mearcstapa sounds so much like a Radiohead song instrumentally it's odd to hear. Not a bad thing.
