My girlfriend's neighbor has approached her parents every single time I park in front of their place, whether I forget they have an issue with it or I can't park in front of the gf's place. I've heard it before from friends as well. Its weird but a thing.

Firing warning shots is illegal and should be illegal, although the prosecutors should have absolutely taken into account the context in that case.

There is no context that justifies firing at the engine of a vehicle with someone working directly above it. My guess is they're trying to find out how to make tougher charges stick, but whatever, it's Florida.

Just charge him with reckless endangerment and have him pay a fine and for damage to the trucks then move on.

If this guy is a real firefighter he knows that his property line doesn't extend into the street and those trucks were allowed to be there.
