Flower is out on Vita

Downloading. I really find it amazing that Sony is offering these titles as cross buy, I bought this years ago for my PS3 and now I can enjoy it for free on 2 more devices, and it's not a simple emulation, people actually worked on these ports.

They could have charged in this case, but it represents the modern digital purchasing model, where you are only expected to buy something once and it to work on all your devices. It's expected with music and ebooks... games are heading this way too.

It's not native res, but still looks good.

Actually, now that I've played it, I think its still outputting at 544p. It just seems like its using the same lens distortion that the PS3 version uses, so you get an uneven resolution. If you completely stop moving and let the camera zoom all the way in, you can tell that it looks much crisper and appears native yes. As you move and the camera zooms out the resolution at the center becomes lower as it gets pushed to the outsides of the screen.

Unbelievable that they made a game this old cross buy.

Kudos, Sony. It's now on my Vita, PS3, and PS4.

It is really fucking great of them but I can't help have a pang of frustration about the whole thing.
Journey was like 25$ or something for the Australian launch or $15 in the US (and our $ was worth more at the time)
I was pissed the fuck off, so I didn't buy journey. Then to support the developers and avoid digital stuff, I purchased the CE edition on BR - $35 AUD but got flower / flow and some other cool stuff.

Fast forward to now, I'm one of the few who has paid $35 for the game and I'm likely to not get a freebie copy :/
