United might win thhe league after all it's said and done but players like Evra, Park, Giggs and Ferdinand need to be replaced asap. If City keeps spending like they probably will, United will have a hard time winning the league next year unless they make some drastic changes.

No, the Premier League is just more competitive, with more varying styles of play for that matter.
La Liga is actually very competitive if you remove Madrid and Barcelona from it. Lots of teams fighting for the same positions. They are just unlucky that they have to share playground with two monsters.

Why do they keep cutting off the celebration.

That's an intense celebration.

Bit of a myth this one. Each league has it's own style and the Spanish one is a lot more pleasing on the eye. The performance on the whole from the English teams in Europe has been below average this season but it doesn't make the league poor.

Well, the teams in the 6-7 position in La Liga have better squads than the Manchester United. But again, the majority of spanish teams are in huge debt. With the Manchester United squad in La Liga they would be like fighting for an EL spot.

Also, the PL style of football is very "old-school" to say something. The football is more "smart" (not just run, run, run) in Serie A, Bundesliga and La Liga.

Jones has been crap. Much worse than Rafael was last week.

Everything about the performance tonight has been wrong.

Think Rafael got a rough deal last week with Pienaar, Jelavic and Fellaini all pretty much flocking to his side.

Poor Rafael's tiny.

Ouch, sucks to concede right before half time but it was expected throughout the whole half. More disappointed with the line up as I was expecting a surprise from Fergie but it's gone as it exactly should according to the line up.

btw does that ladbrokes advert get on anyone else's tits? (Guy shouting 2-1 at 60 minutes) Annoying!

Even if City were up by 2, United are ruthless when they open up - most ruthless team in the PL. The goal happening when it did is pretty good for Fergie as it'll give him a chance to plan it up better with the half time.

PL has no real set style of football. So many teams play in different ways - We have styles ranging from Stoke to Swansea. Also don't buy this the top 7 in LA liga have a better squad than Manchester Utd. Getting a bit silly in here now.

i'm not talking about results, but about the quality of football. generally speaking, premier league football looks outdated with an emphasis on strength and running whereas football in mainland europe, especially spain, has a bigger focus on technical skills and combination football.

English teams have gotten to the final of the Champions League continually over the past 6-7 years. Chelsea twice, United three times, Arsenal, Liverpool twice.

Something is right in England.

I know you don't actually believe this.

Its sheer idiocy if you actually do.

Man United's squad is shit compared to previous years.

Not sure why they're being defended here.

They are weak this season.

Pretty silly of Yaya to slam the ball like that. Might have still been a yellow without it (doubtful), but that really puts us at a potential disadvantage going forward.
