1-1 Gayle

All stemming from a penalty.

We're gash otherwise.

Pack it up.

Go home.

Prepare for matches against Luton and Stevenage.

As an England fan I'm genuinely excited to see Joe Hart dropped, he's made some costly clangers throughout tournaments and it's time other English keepers get a chance to shine.

That being said... I'd still have him over Mingolet :p

Caballero as first choice keeper, Kolarov as center-back, David Silva as CM/DM instead of AM....

It's gonna be fun season for Man City.

Yeah, all the other amazing English keepers

Butland for one is a better choice than Hart, he's younger, has more scope for improvement and isn't overly cocky in his ability like Hart is- the latter flaw tends to be what costs goals in the national team eg. Terrible positioning for the FK Bale scored against him.

This isn't their first choice outfield line-up and Caballero is a very good keeper. Hart being dropped makes the Ter Stegen rumours more believable.

It's good to have the Premier League back :)

My league prediction:
1). Man City
2). Man Utd
3). Chelsea
4). Tottenham
5). Arsenal
6). Liverpool
7). West Ham
8). Everton
9). Southampton
10). Leicester
11). Stoke
12). Crystal Palace
13). Swansea
14). Sunderland
15). Middlesbrough
16). West Brom
17). Watford
18). Bournemouth
19). Hull
20). Burnley

It is only Sunderland, Pep can probably experiment here. Having said that, if he loses this opening game it'll be entirely his fault :lol

City splashing on Butland would make sense with him and Stones potentially building a working relationship in the coming years in the National team.

Silva as a deep lying midfielder isn't that weird tbf. He's pretty much a perfect fit for a Guardiola team and not to be too harsh on Delph and Fernando but they're not exactly suited to how he wants to play. For playing out from the back and dominating the midfield it makes sense to play Silva there. Plus Chelsea won the league playing Fabregas there anyway, albeit he had Matic alongside him who was a beast that season.
