Point doesn't do us a lot of good, but after a terrible run of fixtures it was still much improved. We looked solid and good performance from Gomez and the centre backs. Mignolet as well. Only had one thing to do all game and did it will.
Too often lately the opposition has only one moment and we get punished by it.

they were really solid in the defense. liverpool played well but you could see that once they got into the box united just deflected any shot.

When you're missing world class talent like Fellaini, and also Pogba, you have to be sensible.
Herrera, Lukaku and Mkhitaryan were all garbage IMO. It won't happen but in the big away games (@ City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham) the team would be better served starting Rashford up top. At least he has a chance to get behind defenders and will give 55-65 minutes of non spot effort to put some pressure on the back line. It was 9 vs 10 for the majority of the game.

Lolkaku's first touch is like a blindfolded donkey with all its legs tied together. He's the tap in and deflection master, but in the big games his fraud shows up. Pogba would be clapping like mad from home watching such a performance of overpriced fraudyness.
People will moan and complain but I already said it before and I'd still say it again. Jose will grind out the league. Games against top sides will be narrow win or draw, the rest will be wins or occasional draw.
City win score loads but I suspect they will crash and burn when their form dips, it's coming.

You can go slightly more defensive away from home without setting up as if you're a side battling relegation.

Mou knows exactly what he is doing, he will walk away with the league this year and has never had a problem with how, just so long as they end up top.
Other teams might play far better football and be entertaining but mou will make sure united are at the top when it counts this year.
