Good opening matches for most of the PL teams. Easy opposition in a lot of them save for Tottenham so that's a plus.

Yup, I think people tend to focus on the negatives too much tbh. Obviously it's not perfect, and he's taken a gamble with the defence that most likely isn't going to pay off, but we're still a good side. We've gone from Benteke, Lambert, Balotelli etc to having an elite attacking line-up in the space of 18 months or so ffs.

I take it you don't watch much Serie A. Atlanta have been great the last few seasons and steadily improving and play great attacking football, one of the more entertaining sides in the league. Atlanta are soft at the back and that really highlighted how poor Everton were because they never became a threat.
