Football Thread 2017/18 |OT2| Fractured but Ox

Just came back home and I see that Bayern fans had to suffer again through a very poor 4-0 win for their team. How much can they take?

lol, Bayern had their first fantastic game this season. Real poor finishing and Adler bossing aside, this should have ended 7 or 8-0. What a coincidence that this is a game where Muller plays really and connects well with others that the attack looks far more dynamic then that bland as fuck 3 8s in midfield trash Carlo is such a fan of .. you know for dat #balance

Pep is not fraud man.

Why cant Aguero be as deadly for argentina? My Messi is missing out on his final world cup.

Paulinho the savior for Barcelona. He's looked good so far for the team. Fucking sucks that Dembele got injured though. Hopefully it isn't serious as he was able to walk off himself.

Because they don't utilise him well and Higuaín is preferred by the manager. Aguero is great but he needs to play a very specific role to get the best out of him. Today Pep changed his stance and used him where he is best (finally) and the goals came. Every time he plays that role he scores.

In this form we're completely unplayable, KDB - Aguero and the Aguero Jesus partnerships are just getting better and better every game. 15 goals and 0 conceded in 3 games, just amazing to watch, couldn't be happier.

The zero conceded is the most satisfying part I think.

Very good week for City. 5 - 0, 0 - 4 , and 0 - 6.

Team looks like it is starting to gel. Bernardo still looks off pace and Mendy is usually out of position though he has got significant better compared to the Liverpool game in that regard, but damn he is good at crossing. Hopefully Gundogan can get a good run and give more options. On the long ball City's defence look comfortable and their preemptive play especially compared to last year looks much better. The defence look ropey when teams actually play and try cut in or drive through the middle, hopefuly this will impove as I'm hoping less teams will play narrow and long now City have two players that can cross and get back in the channels.
Just to let yall know that Bayern was the best team in the world for the first half of the season 3 years in a row with Pep coaching them. Then the second half started :S

Aye. I expect City to hit a dip or Pep to start messing with what's working. They still look like they have quite a lot of growth yet though, which is one of the things that City have that Bayern didn't. When Pep went to Bayern they had just finished an almost perfect year and were one hell of a good squad, City are a far from perfect team and have only progressed.

what is it with managers playing people out of position this season? I swear it's worse than it's ever been. It's like they have to play them so just chuck 'em in anywhere "oh you're fast, play as a wing back"

The thing with Klopp though he is starting to say stupid shit, like the other day when he said he could fix our defense on the training ground.... it is just not possible, and the problem is also perception, even if somehow he made it into a semi normal defense, teams will still believe they can be got at which motivates teams, and they go out with a 'we can get a goal here lads' where as teams who arrived at Chelsea of old would be thinking how the fuck do we even score and were beaten before they even got on the pitch...

We all know that Burnley team talk would of consisted of, keep it tight and we will score...

Yeah, I think Pep obviously didn't achieve what we expected out of him in Munich, but he's easily still one of the top 5 coaches in the world. It just didn't work quite as well in his stint in Munich. I still don't know if some people are trolling or serious with Fraudiola meme, but it's pretty funny lol

Klopp won't be sacked and if he does then I'm done with the club. I'll have no part in that kind of impatient fuckery. I'd love to see who these people have lined up as replacements in their fantasies. We were already punching well above our weight when we managed to get Klopp.

Also, congrats to City on the title.

Well, he'd blamed the players he inherited then the fact he wasn't able to bring anyone in so frankly I'm not quite sure what else he could have done, another English manager being torn down by the system #disgrace

Spent like 11m on players. Dude always fucks up clubs.
