I'd take that. Want to see Liverpool in the knockout stages, yeah LFC might face a Barcelona or Real... But bring 'em on, it's a good lesson for our players.

I actually think Liverpool would have a pretty good chance against Barcelona or Real, both teams had quite a lot of errors in defence this season. With Liverpool's quality in attack might be interesting.

Not making it out of this group would be a disaster. Wonder wether Klopp persists with Karius for the next game. Anything but a comfortable 6 points off Maribor is a shocker.

I mean, I'm not asking to squeeze out the last seconds. But 8 mins stoppage time goes up. 20 secs into that their player fannies around for 2 minutes (after the ref blew up for a player going down with cramp)

...and we play 8 mins stoppage time.

But I'll just discuss the advertising hoardings at the stadium next time. Maybe that's more relevant to the game.

Just look in the last couple of pages or so. That wasn't the only complain. And for minor things, really. You had almost 6 minutes of additional time even without those 2 minutes. And the way the last 2-3 minutes of the additional time were played, even 10 more minutes wouldn't have helped.

Edit: I mean, sure, you're free to complain. It was just an observation.

I'm a serial moaner ha. Comes with the territory of supporting Liverpool. But yeah, could still be playing without a goal. One of those nights.

They had Manuel Neuer in goal. Gets injured and the have Manuel Neuer on the bench.

We seem to play a lot of Neuers tbf.

Migs would have saved that free kick I can guarantee it. Karius has done little to impress me in any match he's played. Mignolet is still our top keeper.

I was watching Dortmund - Real and didn't catch that. The keeper from the last minutes is their reserve keeper? Pretty damn good.

I haven't been able to watch much of Liverpool since August and thank fucking goodness

Same, I went on holiday the morning of the City game and got back the morning of the Leicester game. Didn't catch any of the games while gone and it doesn't seem like I missed much
aside from anger and frustration

That Spartak goalkeeper was pretty good.

I don't remember either making any brilliant saves tbh, Liverpools finishing was so bad last night that the stuff they had to do was fairly routine.

The ref was giving fouls for really minor things tbf, and letting Spartak get away with really obvious dives and timewasting. It wouldn't have changed the result, but it might have made the game slightly less frustrating to watch at least

Same, drawing against Spartak is a terrible result and I'm happy to have missed it.

Traveling to Moscow and getting a point is not that bad, Liverpool sit second in the group. Even if they lose to Sevilla in Spain wins over Maribor (twice) and Spartak at home would likely see them advance with 11 points. The draw at home to Sevilla is a worse result IMO.

United without Fellaini and Carrick today, guess that means Herrera and Matic start together. Maybe Scott McTominay starts if Mou is feeling like he needs 3 in midfield.

Make no mistake, Spartak are a woefully poor side. Last night’s result was shocking, regardless of it being in Russia. A draw against Sevilla isn’t a bad result in any way.

There were some Frenchies talking mad shit in Berlin at Brandenburg Gate during the Euro semi finals in 2016 lol.. Dudes are lucky Germans aren't loco like some other countries, coulda ended real bad. One guy was doing a dance with 1-0 (at the time) in the middle of thousands of Germans and singing.. I was like.. dude.

Harry 'Big Daddy' Kane is an absolute monster.

That boy could find the bottom corner of a circle.

realistically though how long do you think he'll be a Spurs player if they don't win anything?

Man City will need a new striker in a year or two when Aguero leaves. Could easily see them just throwing money at the problem and buy a proven PL player like Kane.

I honestly dont see him moving, barring a complete catastrophe, i.e. relegation somehow

Why would we sell our talisman player who represents everything about our club, is idolised by the fans and constantly talks about winning things WITH Tottenham. We've already been burnt by cashing in on a superstar and I'm certain we won't do that with Kane, for one the fans would never forgive the board.

If we don't win things I could see Eriksen, Dele, Tobi And Rose all moving but Kane? I really don't think so.

Kane is talking about winning things with Tottenham because they were/are real contenders. Watch them become 6th/7th twice in a row and he is gone. Because he wants to win something.

Lucky he's contracted until 2022 then.

Sadly the contracts aren't always leading. Sure everything seems fine now and I don't see him moving anywhere soon.

But when Spurs from some reason aren't contending for prizes anymore and some of the good Spurs players leave, I can also see Kane leave. And then you'll face the keeping a player to his contract vs. unsatisfied player discussion.

It's going to be less about trophies and more about when other teams come along promising Spurs players like £200k a week

It's admirable how Spurs have managed to build such a good squad on their budget but you do have to wonder how sustainable it is while they pay their players so little

When someone comes knocking and offers him 250k a week your board have some decisions to make.

#believeBoys :S

My preferred team: Ulreich; Alaba, Hummels, Sule, Kimmich; Thiago, Vidal; Coman, Muller, Robbe; Lewy

- James to come in 60' for Muller if he's not playing well, or Robben if Muller is. Robben seems like he can play at a top level for about 50-60 minutes nowadays.
- Ribery to sulk at the bench ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
