For people who like point & click adventure (DS/GBA)

I picked up a pretty cool GBA game the other day. Called Broken Sword shadow of the Templar. It's alot like those old point and click adventure games (actually more like the recent Shadow of Memories for PS2) I'm struck by how good it actually is.

For only $9 at Fry's I think it's the perfect game to occupy the second slot.

I dont know why Im so late to the party on this. It looks pretty good on the DS too. Nice hand drawn 2D art.

Yeah, I got a used copy a long time ago. I made it halfway through and then suffered the big glitch and had to start the whole game over again. Something about not going to a certain location until you've done some other action... or else you get stuck and cannot make any progress. I got further in, and I can't remember why I stopped playing. I either got stuck or lost interest. Maybe I'll finish it up some day.

It's alright though. Not genius or anything, but it fits the bill as a decent point-and-click for the GBA if you really want one.

required reading if you are playing the GBA version of this game. It has a crippling bug in it that can cause you to restart (like I had to, more than halfway into it :<)

2 announced so far...

-Another (Nintendo/Cing)
-Johnny Rocketfingers (Conspiracy/Cracked Animations)

Its more or less an exact port of the old PC / PSX version that came out years ago (sans voices of course) but a great game either way.

Johnny Rocketfingers!?!? The first scene has some bar slut giving Johhny head......DS = MATURE!

I've been meaning to pick up this, but I always end up forgetting about it, but for the price it's not a bad buy in my eyes. I might snag this off ebay sometime if I get the chance. I've heard decent things about it.

I played this on the PC back in the Stone Age. It is good, but not great. Some of the puzzles are a bit retarded. The story is decent though.

I played this all the way through. Some dumb puzzles and some BAD dialogue/retarded story elements, but enjoyable nonetheless.
