Cryptonomicon and the Baroque Cycle; should I read Cryptonomicon first or start with the Baroque cycle? Seeing as this will be my first foray into Enoch Root, Shaftoe, and Waterhouse I was wondering on the best way to tackle these novels.

cryptonomicon. mind you i havent started the baroque cycle, but cryptonomicon came out way before and the characters are introduced in that novel. so reading the baroque cycle might actually spoil them in cryptonomicon.
