Not to ruin everyone's parade, but the game is apparently not as great as many people had hoped for it to be. There is a pretty well-known french reviewer, usually on the lenient side, who is not that enthusiastic about it. I guess the formula is getting stale with these open-world titles...

I'm french and i have no idea what french reviewer he's talking about. Is it Julien Chieze ? Chieze loved the first Horizon so... Anyway who cares ? Don't preorder, watch for the feedback the first days after release and make an informed decision.

I was just messing with you. Half of my posts here aren't that serious. It's just that i see so many hype tweets from multiple people that have played the game and everyone seems to enjoy the game.
But anyway...monday isn't too far anyway at this point. We'll see how it goes.

I'm really interested to see how the looting mechanic works. Like if you don't bother shooting off the components you get no loot. At least that incentivises the combat rather than just overload and spam hardpoint.
