Actually, I'm not gonna be picky. Any recreation of that avatar would suffice.

Had to be done: Courage Braveheart. Someone else can try some other version if they like.

The problem is NeoGAF's server adds a white background to transparent images that are larger than 100x120 pixels when it resizes them. I've brought it up before in threads but I will PM EviLore directly and see if that works.

Heard anything back from our benevolent overlord?

Maybe for the Halloween edition, have pumpkins, witches, scary things, black and orange in color, etc. Be creative.

I have not sadly, he is a busy man though. If there has been no reply or change in a couple of days then I will PM Gromph as he is the guy who maintains the site.

If that doesn't get anywhere then I will create a thread about it with a more detailed explanation and possible solutions. The solution could be as simple as putting a warning on the Edit Avatar page, something which would take a few seconds. That would at least reduce confusion.

Ideally the system for resizing images would be changed to support transparency, be it an upgrade or using a different system, but that would be more complicated and understandably take some time.
