Could someone avatarize my Squirtle pic? The background is transparent but shows up white? Please and thank you.

The forum upload will resize images larger than 100 (W) x 120 (H) pixels, and lose the transparency. Here's a resized version:

Btw, @ caramac, Mike Hattsu, and others: which image editors do you use? I know FillerB uses Paint.NET and has written bits here and there about it, and IIRC Christina Mackenzie uses Photoshop.

Wanting to compile a list of recommended image editors for the next thread. Would be nice to have a list of free, commercial, and online tools that people could use and read tips about from members here.

Would any of you pro's be able to avatarize this guy? Simple "cut out silhouette" png or whatever allows him to be "cut out". I realize he is kinda low contrast wise... so feel free to do any level adjustements needed to make him look "good". If not, no worries either way

I've used a mix of Paint.NET and GIMP.
