Forza pics

I think Forza looks really good, but like someone said it has that "plastic" look to it. I don't know the reason but it seems most X-Box games have that look to them. I am more impressed by PD's GT4 than by Forza because it has a more realistic look to it.

EvilDede? Do you post on GameTZ?

Are you the same alphasnake from whom I bought the 20 PS2 games pack as well as Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles? Cause yes I am the same evildede as on GameTZ. I had never made the connection between the GA alphasnake and the GameTZ alphasnake though!

Yeah I am. It's fact based on all the evidence you need. Go play 30 fps PGR2 then play 60 fps PGR. PGR2 feels more realistic and even looks it too due to the fact that it's 30 fps and doesn't look like your typical video game, set at 60 fps

You are so right. Thats why americans don't get into F1 races because NTSC runs at 60hz and makes the races look fake while europe runs in PAL at 50hz and the F1 races on TV look a little more realistic.

I thought 60 fps games, not all of them, but most of them I thought were just for the arcade to give that super fast super smooth look and feel, it doesn't offer anything more at all.

30 fps in a racing game is the way to go. Shit yeah! It looks more realistic that way. I am sorry, but 60 fps always seems so fucking fake to me.

So real life must look uber fake to you? :lol

30fps does decrease control where eye hand cordination comes into play. Response time and acuracy falters the slower the framerate. This has been observed in several case studies.

Only reason why I could guess you might think 30fps looks more realistic is that you must live your life infront of a TV where racing coverage is only run at 30fps. I dont know about you but 60fps makes the cars look like I could reach into the screen and grab and gives me the feeling like I am really there.

Forza does have a soft blur to it but imo it looks better than PG2 over all. Its a very sweet game if you can look past framerate.

30 fps never hurt PGR2 at all, even at 60 it wouldn't be any better of a game or sold anymore.

Besides, I think some games truly benefit from 30 fps, almost giving it a more realistic, movie like look. Most games at 60 fps, move so silkly smooth and fast and it's all very sharp, giving it that 90's arcade look... with all that shit moving soo fast and smooth. At least that's how I see it for me.

lol. Jeez dude...So if it looks like a movie, its "realistic? Wow. And here I was thinking that real life should be the benchmark for realism.

What he said ^^

PGR2 looks better than PGR1...but the framerate is NOT the reason
