Fox News gets a rare interview w/ President Obama. It'll probably be their last.

Fox News was eager to highlight the fact that this was the first time Obama had agreed to an interview with its flagship political show, and the White House may just be wondering whether to regret that decision.

Chris Wallace, the host, asks President Obama several questions on the Justice Dept. investigation into Hillary Clinton.

Panelists, and the host himself, then are aghast as to why he would "weigh in" about the investigation, insinuating that there is political favouritism towards protecting Hillary. "Not even Nixon" would weigh in investigations, the host adds.

Stunning.

Panel discussion begins at 18mins 20 seconds.

'so what's your point', pretty good of obama to take the heat like this, although he kinda got his ass handed to him

obama needs to joe rogan experience and chill

Bill Maher must be pissed, Obama still owes him for that cool $million

Anyway...'There's classified, and there's classified ' Hopefully the FBI investigation wraps up sooner than later

He's "weighed in" on investigations before, although this is perhaps the most uninteresting thing to weigh in on. Fox gonna Fox.

On a side note, I'm sure Maher will moan about Obama going on Fox and not his show (again) next week.

Edit: Beaten to the punch.

I don't understand why he won't show up on Maher. Is it because of the weed thing, or Maher is too unpredictable with his questions?

"How many times I have to saying it Chris?"

Damn He is tired of the bullshit

I don't blame him for not wanting to interact with a dude that questioned his blackness

Greatest part of the interview.

Wallace thought he would try and give a non answer and he just wouldn't let it go when the POTUS made it crystal clear.

Also, wtf at this Mr. Obama shit? Dude is the prez man.

Love the "shock" that he commented on the Clinton email scandal when he was specifically asked to comment on it.

Are you surprised that they are disrespecting him? Par the course
Has there ever been a president outside of the Civil War era who has received as much outright disrespect as Obama?

"He's a dirty Muslim, he wasn't born here, he's un-American, Mr. Hussein Obama," etc

What happened to Chris Wallace, he use to have integrity

Maher is such a fucking weird bastard.

One moment a great ally for any minority (racial, sexuality) to have, and the next a steaming pile of "Old white man says stupid shit."
Mahr is everything that is wrong with liberals in one suit and with bad jokes. Him and Glenn Beck are both sides of the same coin

Basically fuck him

"Mr. [President's surname]" is not an uncommon way for the press to refer to the POTUS.

They have been doing it for years, and it makes my plood boil. They never called W Mr. Bush.

I wish he would've said something akin to "Mr Obama? Who the hell do you think you're talking too?"

Just as a not so subtle reminder who's the fucking boss in this interview

"no one is above the justice department"

Except I guess since we made corporations people they are right Obama?

What? People aren't above the Justice department... so if we made corporations people, they aren't above the Justice department either.

But let's just ignore the fact that the Justice department prosecutes corporations and businesses regularly...

You mean the republican/conservative Supreme Court, which in fact Obama is trying to fix. Or do you just want to blame Obama for things he didn't do?

I dont blame him for citizens united. I do blame him for not going after the banks.

I blame him for Holder.
I blame him for Geitner.

And i blame all of congress for everything.

.

Wait, these idiots started criticizing him for involving himself in the investigation, even though he specifically said (multiple times) that he wasn't going to be involved?

I mean , I know it's Fox and all, but still. Fucking scum.

I'm surprised Shepard Smith didn't get the interview. He's actually a decent news man. Wallace just seems like a smug asshole to me.

The banks did nothing illegal so bringing charges for something that wasn't illegal is some unconstitutional bullshit

These panels are really frustrating because instead of the viewer watching and digesting the interview for themselves, these idiots twist and contort everything he said and repackage it until it resembles nothing he said.

It's exactly what Obama was alluding to in the interview.

this sort of false equivalency is not only wrong but lazy. Thanks anyways though.

Are you kidding me? Please tell me you aren't serious. Maybe 5% of everything he's said on his show is questionable or wrong, everything else is straight up liberal by any interpretation. He fucked up on the anti-vaccine stuff which he later recanted and has had several other flubs over the years, but that's basically it. Everyone who blew up at him over the Muslim stuff was misinterpreting his point and basically ignoring guests like Raheel Raza and others who later showed up. He's a liberal to the damn core, even if he's had a few right-leaning opinions now and then.

I didn't say he wasn't liberal, I said he was the worse of the liberal spectrum

Why? Because he's smug and curses? Equating him to Glenn Beck suggests he's stupid and doesn't engage in thoughtful conversation, which is objectively wrong since every single week he gets into conversations Beck is terrified of ever having. Just the other night he had on a Trump campaign guy and had a rational conversation with him even though he disagreed with almost every word he was saying.
