Badass. Picked up 24 and Futurama. Not really a big enough fan to get the Simpsons.

Same here :D Just hope they don't get banged up in the free shipping and get all scratched up.

If they do, all you have to do is call up their 800 customer service number, talk to AMERICANS, and get replacements with free-two day shipping.

I'm so appreciative that Goodcow, time and again, brings these Amazon deals to our attention. And, remarkably, it's out of the goodness of his own heart. Because surely he wouldn't violate the TOS spam rules by soliciting through personalized links!

Thanks bud, and keep up the good work.

Look, I'm saving you money, and trying to help pay for a $300 a year website wherein half the content is of a videogame related matter. Believe me, I take a big loss on the website, I don't even come close to breaking even, let alone getting a profit.

Damn those bastards I just paid like 45 bucks for roswell season 1 like not even a month ago.

If it was from Amazon, call em up at 1-800-201-7575.

They do price adjustments for a time span of 30 days.

I'm not sure we're allowed to discuss these matters on the board. So, don't fret. My personal feelings on covert solicitation will remain as put, unless you'd like to continue in a PM.

Edit: BTW, King of the Hill is so mine.

I saw this earlier at DVD Talk so I picked up 24 and the Simpsons (I didn't really like this season, but I have the rest of them and this is pretty cheap).

What is "Share the Love"?

I'm sorely tempted to get a few of those.

Share the Love

Each time you place an order for books, music, DVDs, or videos with us, we'll offer you the chance to e-mail your friends and give them an additional 10% off the items you bought. (You select which items, of course.) If any of those people purchases one of those items within a week, you'll receive a credit to use the next time you shop with us! Your credit will equal the dollar amount of your friend's 10% discount. Let's say you bought a CD for $15 and decided to Share the Love with a friend on that purchase. Your friend would be able to buy the same CD for $13.50. You would receive a credit for $1.50 (the difference) to use any time in the next 30 days. You are eligible to receive one credit per item shared.

You post your e-mail address, and hopefully someone who is purchasing the item sees it, and enters it into the STL box as they're completing their order. You will receive a 10% discount on that item if you purchase it within 7 days of their having provided it, and they in turn will receive a credit for the amount you saved onto their next order. You can only use one STL per item of course, and they'll only get the credit for one purchase based off of their share.

To apply it to this, if someone sends you a discount on one of these, you'll save $1.50 if you purchase it, and then they'll get a $1.50 credit in their account after you purchase it.

Edit: Damn, too slow.

Okay, this is what I bought:

24 - Season One
Futurama, Vol. 1
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete First Season
Millennium - The Complete First Season
King of the Hill - The Complete First Season
In Living Color - Season 1

So... I've never seen an episode of 24 (despite my love for Elisha), seen maybe three Futurama episodes when it first started but couldn't really get into it, have never seen an episode of Buffy and I might not like it, have never seen Millennium despite being a huge X-Files fan, think King Of The Hill is just okay, and haven't seen In Living Color since it first aired. BUT THE DAMN THINGS WERE SO CHEAP WTF

I passed on Roswell and Angel because I know that I don't like those shows.

I think I see the problem here... ;)

If I like any of these shows, the completist/collector in me is going to want to shell out bucks for the rest of the seasons of each show... Damn.

Yup, that's the thrust of the promotion, pretty much. And it's a pretty smart one, too.

Up here HMV did a "Buy one Fox Season 1 DVD set, get the second free" which was even worse - you'd end up wanting to collect two shows instead of just one.

Of course, they had the decency to include Family Guy....

Dude, I am all over Millennium.

I'm not familiar with share the love, but I would've worked that out if I didn't have to leave for class in five minutes. Sorry shoplifter.

Too bad X-Files isn't included in there. There were two seasons of Millennium, right? And then there was that X-Files episode that wrapped up all those loose ends.

Looks like I'll have to pick up 24 and Futurama. I'm starting to think I'll have to pass on all the Simpsons box sets. Too long a wait for too many seasons, for too much money, and only recently have they actually gotten to the good seasons (4+) so I guess I can pass it up. Where's Family Guy though? PEACE.

psh, just STL with yourself :p

just because your friend cancelled their order, doesn't mean the love stops there.
