I kinda want to know how much this cost them... like I know some of your viewers might be into it but is it really worth it to spend a bunch of money on this? just seem so... pointless.

Bizarre. Having seen a few clips of WWE, where the lack of crowd felt utterly strange, I kind of hate to say it, but this might actually be a good solution.
That says something interesting about me and people that think like me (I would assume most), I guess. I suppose that we get so used to things, that fake versions of those things are better than the discomfort of not having them, weirdly enough.

I tried to watch a preseason baseball game and it was just weird. I think it’s because baseball has many more crowd shots than football or even NBA. I think this is the right call.
Isn’t it just the same tech they use to insert ads behind the plate, or the first down line, or any of that stuff? I don’t think it’s a big deal.

Okay, but I don't want just a bunch of virtual ordinary Americans. There need to be some Easter eggs in there. And this leads to big opportunities for cross-promotion. Find Wonder Woman! Find the Mandalorian! Or at least give us the occasional bizarrely glitched-out fan.

I think it's actually the chanting and cheering. It's the same reason we have them in video games. The silence makes it hard to "feel it".
