Fraggle Rock Season One DVDs Confirmed - MuppetCentral

Various parts of Europe have had much of the first season of episodes for quite some time, but North America has seen only three 3-4 Episode Discs released over the past 8-9 months. It'll be nice to be able to spend even more money on children's television from the 1980s. The current DVDs are alright and all, but being able to have the entire season will be quite nice for nostalgic purposes.

We've known this was planned since last fall, but it's nice to get official confirmation. I changed my avatar when I saw the confirmatoin a few days ago. I'll definitely be grabbing the set right away. Fraggle Rock was the first TV show I watched as a kid, and everything Henson touched is gold. I can't wait to relive it.

Heh...I noticed ol' Wembley the other day. I wish I had of realized this earlier, I would have watched an episode to celebrate.

Holy shit, I'm not sure if I want to even buy this because I'm so old now. I mean I used to watch this when I was a little kid...oh well? D:

Don't kid yourself...you'll buy it -- and I will too.

I haven't seen an episode in a long time. I was going to grab the first single disc release when it was a Wal-Mart exclusive but my local one was soldout right away, and then I heard about the season set that was pretty much a definite eventual release.

Heh, one of my earliest memories is of a Gobo stuffed animal. Good times.

Parents who grew up with it, buying it for their kids.
And those grownup kids that can still enjoy good fantastical shows featuring puppets.
