Del Toro and Mia Goth!? So hyped the fact it's Netflix dampens my hype just a smidge.

Loved the movie honestly. Yes, some of the dialogue is a bit simplistic but I just chalked it up to being a fairy tale vibe that has easily digestible universal themes. Every single second on screen looked phenomenal, artistic, and beautiful. Even corpses and dissections were so heavily stylized that they were just part of the dark art style of the movie. The look they chose for The Monster was great.
