Yes, send the gift to your own email, and use the redeem code to give it to someone. Just remove your email adress from the code

Sweet God! He's made himself a library of free games. At least he's nice enough to always thank.

Meanwhile I've never been able to get a single game (aside from a gift during bingo). Probably has to do with timezones, being from Europe I'm never online at the right times.
 
i think saying thank you almost makes up for it being his whole posts. god knows other lurkers don't and i'm sure it grinds everyone's gears. This is why modbot and pms are better, though.

Yeah I mean the alternative is for him to take free games and not thank the gifter. I'd much rather him say thank you every time he takes a game, even if those are his only posts on GAF.

Oh, you're very nice! Though mind you I wasn't begging, in fact I probably don't even check the thread often enough to get any game.

But I did want to try Dust, so if you're willing to give it to me, I'd accept.

This is exactly what modbot is for. Wish more people would use it, it's really not very difficult. If you do a 24-hour raffle with no winners from the previous week, IMO it helps spread the love better to more people from more time zones who might not check in constantly for free stuff.

Quick questions guys.

I also have some games on steam gifts I am looking to give away.

I've seen other people do it by giving away a code, but I only have the option of sending via steam or to an email. How do I convert theme to codes to give away or should I just ask people to pm me their email / steam id?

I don't think you can convert them to codes.
