alright my local store has 1 more left is for 149.99! However gamestop 20 miles from my house has 3 of them for 179.99 wtf? by itself. The pstwo package is 269 with controller 1 8mb memery and any game of you're choice.

Odd people complain about shortages when everytime I go into a WalMart or Target here, they have at least a half dozen of them.

Yeah, they're extremely hard to find where I live too.

My brother wants one, and I checked every store. All sold out. During my search, I heard at least 10 other people asking the same question. Finally found one at Walmart just after the shipment arrived. Sold out within minutes.

People that say they are in stock readily where you live, I think you're the fluke. Check any retailer online. All sold out. Even the crazy $300 bundles at ebgames.com and gamestop.com.

Yeah, I work at best buy in Canada and we got like 150 PS2's in like 4-5 days ago. Probably down to like 80-90 now...but man, there's no shortage of PS2's up here (yet).

The Toys R Us in Times Square has about 500 of them, I imagine you could find one over there.
