I’m of two minds about this.

I LOVED(own them all) the Wick films and am firmly in the “Keanu is largely what made those films work” akin to how Tom Cruise is what makes M.I films work.

This to me just feels like a gender-bend/sex-swap, and that kind of makes me uninterested. I don’t want to see a “Female John Wick” - I’d be more excited if this had its own feel, own choreography and aesthetic that connects to the universe but doesn’t just 1-1 it.

But - that being said - Ana looks great and the world does have meat on its bones to expand (if done correctly unlike the Peacock series).

Like I said 1 was nice and simple and great. Then it went fucking stupid with the odd bit of decent action.

If they can't make anything better with the actual John Wick i highly doubt they can do it with a bird, although she is smoking hot, ill give her that.

There were already too many John Wick films and their quality gradually degraded. I only consider the first two great and rewatchable. By comparison JW4 was a struggle to watch it to the end, they've extended every single scene as much as they could.
