I was listening to my ipod on my way home from school when suddenly the darn thing stuttered for half a second and stopped. The song track is still displayed on screen but it is stuck there. I tried resetting it but to no avail.
Any help?

By tried reseting it, you mean the trick where you go on hold, then unhold, then hold menu and select at the same time for 10 seconds? Thats sorted mine whenever it crashes, and the stupid thing crashes alot.

Try reseting when it's hooked up to the iPod charger which is hooked up to a power outlet.

Yeah, that's how I tried to reset it. I also tried plugging it into the power outlet then reset, but it is still not responding.

So your ipod just started magically working again after some time?
Mine is still stuck currently, this thing better recover by itself. I was walking while the thing was in my pant pocket when it froze, other than that I have no idea what could've caused the problem.

Maybe your ipod is letting you know "touching is not good". :lol j/k

Maybe you got a bad program that interfere with the menu setting or the hard drive itself, perhaps?
