Fireworks are mostly ok, what i hate is the stuff that only make loud noise without any colorfull stuff in the sky.

Stuff like this make faaaaaaaaar more noise than fireworks and are even more dungerous for dogs, but maybe you don't use these things in america.

That's part of the problem too. It's especially bad tonight, but people have been doing at least a few these for weeks now.

we had rottweiler smooth haired colly mix who bolted from a field at night because of stray firecracker on a random night. We thought she was lost or dead as there are busy streets near our home. Luckily she was cowering between our garage and fence. Her tail microwagged when she saw us, still terrified.

I hope whoever is doing it eventually just gets gunned down by an angry resident. At this point it honestly would put a huge smile on my face.
