Because it's a lot worse if you think that way. If I don't stay positive I become just like that so I try to motivate myself with everything, and just wonder a lot, also having a loving family helps. But yes I do get like that sometimes, I think everyone does and you have to stay positive. Meds help, family helps, gotta think of better times, like I said, try to stay positive and motivate yourself with things, hobbies, outings, etc. I believe a better place exists somewhere out there whether on earth or not, and that itself keeps me going.

Sounds like you've done some really cool shit and you should be proud of that. But remember, work isn't everything. I've no idea what your situation is with friends and family but try and connect more with people on a person-to-person basis. Online interactions can be great but can't be a total substitute for in-person ones.

This might sound like a small thing but try getting out and going for some walks. When I was going through a rough period a few years back I surprised myself at how much it helped. Look at whatever negative behaviour patterns you are currently in and try and break those by introducing more productive things. Travel more. Try out a new hobby. The world has a bunch of amazing experiences waiting for you.

Seriously chill and I don't mean wreck your life with drugs, but recongise what you've got going for you. 99% of people end up being part of some cog or another, the 1% that do sit at the top can be depressed too.

Take a break from GAF, surround yourself with family, friends and get some therapy if you can. Then come back if you wanna be part of this community.
