Just got back, and HOLY FUCK it was awesome. I'll try to type up a setlist tomorrow, just lemme say that Wild Boys was easily the showstopper of the night. Simon was awesome as always.
edit: the opening band VHS or BETA was fuckin great, like a mishmash of DD, The Cure, and New Order. Good good stuff.

Careless Memories came with a pretty cool anime-style video of Simon/Nick/John/Roger/Andy killing record company ninjas, giant lizards, UFOs and the EMI building (which had a boardroom containing execs with a chart of 'record sales post-MP3) which the crowd went nuts for.
Anyway, if they're coming to your town, and you think you -may- like them, go. Well worth it. I may even go to the show here in Columbus tomorrow as well.

Nope, they mostly stuck to the older stuff (sans Ordinary World and Come Undone) and a few tracks from the new album. I wouldn't have minded hearing stuff from Medazzaland or Pop Trash, but I suppose that when you've got such a large catalog and many of those older tunes are -must play- tracks, you've got to make cuts somewhere.
I would've liked them to have played A View To A Kill or Union of the Snake, both of which they're occasionally playing.

Nice playlist, but Union of the Snake and New Moon on Monday would have been cool too. Of course they have to try to push the new album, so can't play all the oldies.
