For me as of now, from what I seen, it's close between Anchorman and Dodgeball. Will Ferrell and Ben Stiller were both hilarious. But I've seen Anchorman a few times too many recently and Anchorman just had some great lines. Anyway, it's a toss up between those I'd say.

Oh, and I thought that alternate ending for Dodgeball was awesome too. If they weren't going to use it they should have at least let it run for 10-15 seconds and then cut back to the foot over the line.

Dodgeball is the best "typical" comedy since Dumb and Dumber although Sideways and Garden State earn major points for being hilariously funny at times while mixing drama in as well. Harold and Kumar was hilarious as well -- Anchorman didn't stand up to either it or Dodgeball sadly.
