Well after watching it fully, it's explicitly mentioned that Anne-Marie can talk to animals and that this was a unique skill. That's why Carface was keeping her: to talk to racing animals to find out which ones were going to win.

Other than that, the dogs talked amongst themselves with limited cross species understanding (no direct talking except for a certain scene), but with no human understanding, and they acted fairly human sometimes (to the point of fighting with their fists/paws). So yeah, Charlie is in the right place here.

As for the movie... I'll leave what I think of it for later, heh.

I'm going to be editorializing these if you're going to keep giving me sets of 3 buff dudes with no shirt looking into the view for a given artist. Get rid of one and use one of those cool black and white pieces he did or something different. We need variety!
