Fursan al-Aqsa Steam Summer Sales and Unreal Engine 5 WIP
New Trailer - Iran for Palestine!
Hello friends!!!
This is the first post in a long time. I think you may have been following what happened with my game Fursan al-Aqsa, it's removal from Steam in the UK and all EU, and other stuff. This block even though it helped a with the sales as soon as it was banned, hamdulillah (it gave me free marketing and visibility), but on the other side, for a long term, yes, it harmed my game because I had many players from European Union who wishlisted my game. Even though I uploaded a non-steam version of Fursan al-Aqsa to Gamejolt here:
gamejolt.com
But I see many players buying my game from key resellers, even though I am fine with this, so long as people play and talk about my game, but I don't earn nothing whenever these key resellers sell my game.
So for this reason, I have been busy with my freelance job of Unreal Engine Developer and Character Animator, which helps me to earn some extra cash to pay my bills and to invest on Fursan al-Aqsa Development and most important, I gain more tech skills to use in Fursan al-Aqsa development.
You can see some of these works I have done on the past months here:
Anyway, even then, since this project Fursan al-Aqsa is a long life dream for me, my commitment to this game will stay for many years to come, in sha Allah!
First of all, my game is discounted at 66% OFF on Steam Summer Sales, so it is a great opportunity to get the most BASED and QASSAMPILLED indiegame of all time by just 5 bucks!
I have been working "behind" the scenes on a brand new update, a new mission, the Lion of Gaza, but not just this. This new update is a complete overhaul of the game (Remake Version), because I am migrating this project to Unreal Engine 5.
I decided to upgrade Fursan al-Aqsa Remake to Unreal Engine 5 for the sake of making things easier for me to update the game itself, since UE5 has many new tools and improvements and it is way easier than Unreal Engine 4.
Alongside this update on the engine, I will update the textures to 4K resolution, improve the overall lighting, reflections, and make Fursan al-Aqsa Remake SteamDeck verified.
My "roadmap" is as follows:
* Port Fursan al-Aqsa Remake to Unreal Engine 5
* Improvements on lighting ambience
* Real time shadows (not baked lightmaps)
* Increase environment textures resolution to 4K
* Add photo mode
* New Mission the Lion of Gaza
* New Skin Yahya Sinwar
* New Weapon Yasin Rocket Launcher
* New Achievements
* New Enemies (Merkava Tanks, Tiger)
* Fully compatibility with Steam Deck (Medium Settings)
Here you can see some screenshots of the new map, already running in UE5:
So thank you and until the next update.
