Bacon of Hope
Hey..

I'm about to move in a couple months so I am looking to trim down on a lot of my belongings. I have a lot of video game and anime merchendise I am going to throw up on ebay.

My question, is it best to sell stuff in lots or one at a time?

For instance, I have a SNES with Chrono Trigger, KI, MK2, Turtles in Time and some other shit.. Is it best to split everything up or sell it all at once?

Also, I'll be shipping full systems, like my Xbox for instance. How much does shipping cost for something like that? I see many people post $20+ for shipping but i have no idea.. I dont want to get to the post office and it be like $10 more and lose out on the shipping...

I suggest you prepare the box BEFORE listing it (after taking photos, of course) and measure/weigh it. You can then go to UPS.com or USPS.com and get an accurate price. There's also a selling option where you enter size/weight and Ebay will calculate an accurate shipping cost depending on mode and a buyer's zip code.

Or alternately, you can decide how much you want for the entire lot, including the rare stuff, and post it as a Buy it Now. The hit in the total sale price will be compensated for significantly by only having to pay Ebay fees for one auction or two auctions. Just be sure to follow Ebay's guidelines about wholesale lots, or they can strike your auction down and they won't give you your money back.
