For the most part all rappers have only 1 lane and stick to it for their whole career. Its not that Ross should switch up his lane, he can't. He has no other lane. Ross's misfortune is that he chose the lane that is highly disposable. All of Ross's hottest radio songs were hot cause of the production. People checked those songs out cause he has a great ear for beats. But what's there to hold people over?
The greatest rappers of all time, no matter what your personal ranking is, all offer more than the single you hear on the radio or TV. Ross isn't that type of artist.
I've been out of the loop. Its Lupe doing what exactly?
Does he have beef with Gambino?
Either way F&LII was a step in the right direction. His releases here and there have been quality. I might be the only one here, but looking forward to his album. Don't like the lead single at all though.

I don't even like Ross all that much and I agree. Jeezy's got some hit singles, but Teflon Don was great.

Why does Skyzoo's flow have to be so one dimensional. It hasn't changed at all since his first release and it just dampens his releases. The production on An Ode To Reasonable Doubt is just wasted on him.

I listen to that album quite a bit.
I wish that his P.O.C. group had gone somewhere and there were a few more songs. But then again Gibbs always seems to have new songs and a million projects on the horizon so who knows.
