I don't mean anything by that. All that matters is that he's yours and you love him.:)

I tend to be a little more... protective of him and Talley, his twin. When I got them, someone had decided they wanted to test out what fireworks did to kittens. Both of them were really badly burnt in their various orifices (think front, back, ears, mouth....) That's why, in his pic, one ear is very obviously clipped off about halfway. That's how he specifically got his name - because he had a burn on his face. Apparently when black cats get singed, their fur grows back white, which is what happened on his face and chest.

They're my babies though. :) Despite their not-perfect looks LOL

Meet 'Caramel'

When I first met her at the local animal shelter. (Oh god, it's already been 10 years)
She arrived the day before comming from a killing shelter in Greece and brought to Germany by an anmial rescue organisation
How can people do something bad to something likeTHIS.
She was scared as hell and wanted to run away from every human on first sight, but that changed. Although she is still cautious with strangers, hides behind me and doesn't leave my side when she sees young men wearing heavy boots...
But once you have earned her trust she's the most endearing dog I know.

In her youth she enjoyed driving in my convertible.
Now she's getting older and is becomming a little grey around the clown-nose..

And then there was 'Felix' (He unfortunately died last year, cancer)

We met him years after we got Caramel during a walk and both where a heart and a soul from the very beginning. It turned out, he came from the same killing shelter in Greece and was the same age. So maybe it was a kind of family reunion.
When his owner died we took care of him. He was not as cautious and much more confident as Caramel. A big Teddybear and buddy, and always up for anything fun.
He loved just everybody, played and cuddled with kids that were smaller than him. They could ride him or pull at his hair, he always stayed fond and even enjoyed it, just 95 pounds of pure love.

I guess I shoud stop here, before I post even more pictures...

"I'm going to eat this dog as soon as you turn away..."

You know what's funny is that Nelly was my wife's dog and Fancy is my cat. When they first met he was always trying to attack her( my cat is 10 lbs and she's 2.7 lbs)

But she had enough one day and barked or almost bit my cat and ever since then they've been fine with each other. There's still typical cat and dog roughhousing but now we're not afraid to leave then alone together.

Today I got myself another cat, this one is a kitten she is a semi pedigree Norwegian Forest Cat, she's primarily black with white face and paws, the mother cat is pedigree the father is unknown just a local Tom cat.

Got some pics, I will upload them later, for now the kitten is exploring my kitchen and playing which is providing much merriment for me.

Still undecided on a name.

Bunch of cuties in here. Everyone pet your pet for me please.

Here's me with my dog, trying not to die from a massive hangover

Touching, you were a great owner to them.

GAF, I think I'm in trouble. This is Vincent the Boston Terrier, I don't have him yet, picking him up the weekend of May 30. I knew that I would get a Boston eventually after falling in love with a friend's many years ago. My first pet.

I can't wait.

I have a couple of cats, this is the youngest one, Chi... saved her from starvation off a rainy parking lot where she was abandoned, had to force feed her te first week since she had already given up. We did all kind of tests and she's fully healthy now!

It's as if she knew I was going to post this, she just jumped on my desk to chase the text I'm typing :D

Here's Snow, I wanted to name her You but my brother wouldn't have it. Shame, You is a perfect name for a cat. "You! Get off the counter! You! Stop scratching the couch!"

On the bright side she sheds so much that every time someone picks her up I can joke about them being covered in snow.
