GAF redirecting to lemode-mgz.com?

It's definitely a banner ad. Was just trying to change my phone wallpaper at ilikewallpaper.com and I was getting hit with the redirect constantly. So it's not only GAF it's other websites that have the ad too

It just happened to me too. :(

EDIT: It happened in this thread. We're beyond the looking-glass, folks!

This is the ad that is causing it for me:

In fact, this ad shows up in my Adsense Ad Review center and even redirects there, so it isn't a matter of vising a "malicious" website - it is a bad ad.

adwynne.com is the displayed network

It seems like Google AdSense is getting more and more intrusive ads.
FTFY

The old days of "don't be evil" are long gone. The worst is that the ads are iframes (which are basically a webpage inside another webpage) and can load whatever the advertiser wants. There are means of a webpage breaking out from an iframe in all browsers, which is likely the cause behind the redirects.

Google should simply ban JavaScript and Flash in ads, but they love the money they make from scanners. They don't even have an easy way for users to report bad ads, for God's sake.

Something interesting I've noted, it only seems to redirect when the tab is active. I left a thread open for 20 minutes, but not on the tab - nothing.

Soon as I made it active, it changed.

Mobile gaf is pretty much unusable for me, every page I have to quicj relfex hit the x button to quit the loading of the redirect every single page :/

I think you're right. I opened a tab and didn't get around to it for several minutes, and it redirected me as soon as I switched to it.

This seems to be an issue with Google ads at large - I've had redirects at other sites using them as well.

i'm not getting this issue, but i am getting these ridiculous ads that take over the page if i dare touch them with the mouse pointer.

Maybe it's time for websites to look for ways to fight back? They depend on visitors viewing and clicking on ads to survive and rogue ads do nothing but poison the well and push users into using ad blockers.

I wonder if it's possible to somehow parse the ads as they are downloaded and sanitize them, removing redirects, pop outs and other undesirables.

This is now happening about 90% of the time I load a new page on GAF.

This isn't happening on my PC (running Chrome), but it was happening on my iPhone. Deleted cookies and browsing history and it went back to normal.

Doesn't seem to be limited to Neogaf. Exact same thing just happened to me on Serebii as well. GAF seems to be getting it way worse though.
Some threads are virtually unbrowsable without an adblocker.

I only came across this issue yesterday evening on iOS8/Safari. Hasn't happened today on my Nexus 7 using Chrome, though, but until it has been totally fixed I'm not browsing on my gaming PC.

This is still happening to me, it comes in bursts. About every page I opened on my phone I would get redirected. This is getting pretty ridiculous.

Tbh, not comfortable to browse Gaf on my main pc, least iOS is a closed system that makes me feel more comfortable in that instance.
