GAF redirecting to lemode-mgz.com?

Happens to me on 95% of page loads on mobile. NeoGAF completely unusable. I've had to resort to Adblock on Desktop until this gets figured out. Very sorry, but Chrome warns me about phishing attacks when it redirects (which is almost every page load), so I've got no choice.

FUCK YOU, LEMODE!!!! ><

Edit: Works fine on the Mac. (10.7.x) Seems to be an issue with iOS and/or mobile. Maybe a bug in the mobile theme here at GAF?

Googling "Lemode redirect" shows that plenty of sites, mostly forums but even some reports of Facebook, are having this exact same problem.

I'm being redirected to some beauty ad website (lemode-mgz.com) only on NeoGAF. Using Chrome on Win 7. Anyone else getting this?
Yep, I'm just getting this now too. Using Chrome on iOS. Almost every page is redirecting me to it now. The story on it keeps changing. First it was something with Ellen, now it's something about brain cancer. Hell, I didn't even mean to quote this post, but it was the only way I could move fast enough to beat the redirect and get to the reply screen.

This is driving me crazy. It's not just GAF, I had to keep reloading a Wikia page because the ad kep redirecting before I could read anything. Then it kept happening on some Geman cat video the bf forwarded.

Chrome on iOS. I got the cat video to play on Safari. Am I going to have to go Safari now?

It's not just lemode-mgz or whatever it's called. Sometimes I end up at consumernews247 or something like that, but not nearly as often.

It's especially infuriating because using the back button doesn't take me back to the page I wanted, but rather, takes me back two pages to the page I was on when clicked the initial link. Example:

Load Subscriptions.
Click "go to new post" link.
Rage as I end up at LeMode.
Click Back.
End up at Subscriptions again.
Click "go to new post" link again.
Go to last post instead of new post, and immediately get redirected to LeMode again.
Click Back again to go back to Subscriptions.
Click "go to new post again" and quickly try to hit Stop before redirection.
Fail.
Click Back again to go back to Subscriptions.
Click "go to new post again" and quickly try to hit Stop before redirection.
Fail.
Click Back again to go back to Subscriptions.
Click "go to new post again" and quickly try to hit Stop before redirection.
Fail.
Click Back again to go back to Subscriptions and immediately get redirected to LeMode.
FUCK YOU, LEMODE!!!!! ><
Go back inside and use the Mac.

Any way y'all can disable their banner(s) until they fix them? <3

I'm getting the same issue, it's making GAF hard to browse. I thought I had a virus but it does seem to be only happening on 2 sites I visit specifically so it must be some kind of malicious ad that has invaded Google.

No issues over here. Only been using GAF for about thirty minutes though so I'll update this thread if anything happens. Opera and Windows 8.1. All plugins (Flash/Java) disabled.

Happening literally every 30 seconds now.

"Losing weight by eating sounds just too good to be true" is what they are going to write on my tombstone.

9 times just writing this post on my PC in chrome.

Seems to be location specific. Not getting any problems either on both mobile or pc. The GAF admins are probably ok if people use ad block for the time being if they're affected.

Seems to be related to Google Ads, i saw it on another website using Google Ads earlier. I reported this to google, so hopefully they fix it. It was happening all day yesterday, but so far hasn't happened to me today. It may be related to their ad rotation algorithm, they probably show different ads based on location, time, and other factors.

I was browsing last night and suddenly had this happen on mobile 4 times in a row. It then ceased and has not happened since. I should have payed attention to the adds at the time.

Probably because JavaScript only runs in active tabs.

Hrm, that's probably why my firefox is not doing it. I think I remember putting in a Javascript blocker on it (Though i regretted it later cause it just got annoying trying to get some pages to work that I wanted to work. Though I swear it stopped working after newer Firefox's and they didn't update it. Either that or I turned it off cause i never have it ask me anymore and I don't have to go searching to find what i need to allow to get a webpage to work anymore <- it would disallow all sort of javascripts and I'd have to guess which one I needed to allow to get a page to load).

Weird, but I've never had the issue happen on iOS 7.

A while back on Safari on OS X I was redirected (not to that site), but it only happened once.

It had stopped for a while for me, but it's doing it again now.

I get the consumernews247 one from time to time on other sites aside from GAF, such as AZ lyrics and Rap-Up. Do I have a malware or virus or something? It's not happening every time but once every other hour.

I'm using Chrome on a Mac.

I don't have any problem browsing on mobile though.

This is happening to me with nearly every thread, including this one. To read it, I had to keep swiping my trackpad for the "back" motion every 5 seconds or so.

Using Safari on OS X Yosemite.

i saw the consumer thing on mobile, but oddly not on GAF. Either way I was able to get it to go away by clearing history/website data.
