Cool, well it should be up like a half hour before the event.
That is if all these people show up.

^Good question! Who wants to host?

Who's going to ly dow now?

So what's Nokia up to these days, now that's a sexy phone.

I will buy an inferior chipset if it gives me the curve in the promo, no joke.

That back looks bland as hell, as least the Nexus S was Glossy.

Not yet. But I'm not gonna stay up 'til 4.

Besides, if the Nexus S taught me anything, it's that in the 6 hours preceding the reveal, everything there is to know will be known. Someone's probably going to find the presentation on Google docs in a few minutes. Thank god they just refreshed all of that this morning.

So...I guess I'm holding on to my N1 for a little bit longer.

=(

Someone get raistlin in here.
when you flash an ICS rom to your phone that frown will turn upside down!

I don't know why, but I don't want a flat screen. I think I've developed a phobia.
Then I guess you won't get the Galaxy Nexus S Prime?

Oh, and if you buy Nokia, you can force them to implement a real curved screen. How about that?

Galaxy Nexus...... how did not one person say "That's stupid"?

Samsung and Google are probably trying to push the sales of this phone with the Galaxy brand, which became somewhat popular (S and SII apparently sold over 30m units).

It's still a terrible name.

Why every droid lte phone have that hump in the rear?

Samsung started the subtle hump for ergonomics (and it's awesome), Google went balls out with the Nexus S.

That's another thing that hump looks like the SII hump and not the Nexus hump.

I have no idea. According to the original teaser, the power button and those three dock/charging connectors were on the other side as well.

WTF samsung. Seriously.

Nah, that image is flipped.

Whats up with the charger port? The docking port. The three dots.
OH I see the image was mirrored.

They probably wanted to fool the Apple lawyers.

"Damn, it's curved. No chance here. Lets move one. Did you guys prepare the Galaxy S3 lawsuit?"

The N9 and nokia 800 have curved screens, though

Well, yeah the image was mirrored, but isn't that incredibly stupid for a non symmetrical product. Next they'll be showing iOS versions of software on their android phone adverts.

Can someone tell me what's so great about a curved screen?

I'm looking forward to the the Nokia WP7 but would just like to know the pros of it

If you put it face down on a table, no part of your screen ever touches the surface.

Also, sexy. Curves are always sexy.

If I'm being honest, for me it's irrational, it just looks boss.

Only the glass is cuved at the edges. That doesn't count. I want curved glass and a curved screen.

It's a trick to make it look like the icons are on the surface of the screen. The N9/800's screen is convex and not concave I believe.

That's weird...I'm trying to imagine the appeal of a concave screen and don't really see it.

Doesn't matter. We're not really getting it anyway. That was just to help us create an irrelevant thread topic title.

=(

or should I say =|

The curve of the phone also helps with accidently palm touching of the screen, it's sort of a "bridge" reaching over.

Whia!!!!!! Hell yeah! Watching. Today is the best.

LOL. I think it starts out giving him force close errors. Oh android.

In other news, maybe it's cheap?!

Good one.

What's the significance of i9250?

edit: So is it looking like the Galaxy S2 might be the way to go?

the i9250 is the cdma/gsm model, the other one is the LTE cdma model.

Can we change the thread title now?

Might as well make it a =*(

A few things from that video. Touch to focus in the camera and it shoots quickly. Really quickly. It seems very, very smooth. Lots of blue. More than I thought. Buttons as expected rotate with screen orientation. Touching the bottom of the screen in the camera kicks the phone back into the app tray.
