GAME cancelling Switch 2 preorders less than a week before launch (UK)

I seen they got the Silent Hill 2 steel case edition months ago, which was bizarre then tbh as I thought they were dead, but somehow they still get exclusives and deals with companies. Although, they did have some issues with supply and demand for those as far as I remember people saying.

Just seems weird to then announce a massive pre-order knowing they're in the middle of being closed. Feel bad for those getting screwed over.
I'd imagine their next step is to go completely online. No one wants to go into Sports Direct to visit their stores. I'm sure fat Ashley thought it was a genius money saving strategy but it comes across as them winding down the retail aspect of the company.

The first fault was pre ordering from GAME. that company is literally a corpse shuffling to get any morsal of sustenance it can.

Crosses fingers that my Argos order arrives ok! lol

I called Walmart to try and change the payment method and got a little snippy with them because the agent was lost and his best solution was to cancel and re-buy it even though their help page says you can do it (and contradicts itself in several places regarding how and when you can). They promised higher management would contact me and it never happened.

Then I learned that Walmart was cancelling preorders just for calling and asking a support question -one guy lost his preorder just for asking which store it was shipping to, in another case Walmart nuked his entire account. Suddenly I felt the urge to send an apology note with a cupcake insisting that the existing payment is perfectly fine and there is no problem here.
Yep, I just moved to another State and was unable to change my shipping address so I had to cancel it. I had other preorders for different items at other stores that I able to change with no issues. But no, the world's largest retailer can't figure it out. Their solution? Just cancel and reorder. 😂
