Anyone else? There has to be more, right? Aren't the KOF games loaded with them? Is anything blatantly wrong (where heterosexuality can be proven)? Help me out....

Paul Phoenix= gay??? In one of his endings he was accompaning two ladies while entering a taxi cab (but then again that doesn't really mean anything).

Edit: Volgin is bisexual (MGS3)

Well, other than Luigi's flamboyant girl-slap run in SSBM, his move towards a higher voice, and the liking of a pink suit here and there.

As an aside, you make a lot of assumptions with absolutely no evidence, and seem to have horribly misused a few other words. I don't think "a woman disguising herself as a guy so as to avoid being killed" qualifies as "transgendered," and I think that your listing of Luigi as homosexual will be protested by the Italian League.

Oh, and get over the Birdo thing already, will you?

There's a distinct lack of lesbians, I see. Unless we'll count the entire female cast from DoA: Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Just assuming, of course... :D
 
Offhand I will give you Ebisumaru, and I can see why you'd say Tingle, but it seems like at least some characters made your list just because they're not overtly heterosexual.
 
I'm pretty sure the chick from Fear Effect, the main one, is bi. She had that ladyfriend, but I think she eats beef tenderloin, too.

Ebisumaru is from the Goemon games, right? I thought he was chasing the ladies in several of those...

I think he's associating "wimpy" or "easily frightened" with homosexual. By that logic, Curly, Don Knotts, and just about every single comic sidekick ever dreamed up is homosexual.

And yeah, Nintendo's surprisingly liberal in this department. Yoshi could possibly be included too thanks to his relationship with Birdo, though that gets into the grey area of hetero males and trangendered partners.

Luigi's pretty well established within NCL... even Kobun will admit what Luigi's actually into. There's hints in Paper Mario and SSBM among other games.

Sodom's mostly speculation based off his name. Ryu and Tails too, from their close (almost exclusive) male relationships. If any of these these characters have had their heterosexulaity demonstrated, please let me know. Paul's already been removed.
 
Play Mario Power Tennis, watch Luigi swoon over Peach and still try to say that with a decent argument. I don't see how it's possible.
 
Luigi isn't gay. In Paper Mario 2, he is on his own quest to save Princess Eclair. Throughout his retelling of the story, he speaks of her in very loving tones. Even the partners that he's with confirm that he finally saves his beloved Princess Eclair.

It's been a while, but in Goemon N64 (the only one I've played), I seem to remember Ebisumaru stripping in front of a male shopkeeper in order to get a discount at a merchant, and some other gay-themed innuendo in the dialogue that went past the boundary of "male friendship."

I also think it's easy for Americans to misread some characters in Japanese games as gay, just because the cultural markers are different. Some characters in Japanese games have effeminate behavior, but that's a separate issue from their sexual orientation.

EDIT: and arguing that Luigi is gay sounds a whole hell of a lot to me like those LOTR fanboys who argue that Frodo and Sam are gay.

What the fuck is wrong with you? You sat around for awhile to think about video game characters who might be gay, and then you have to post every one of them in a fucking list!?

I mean, it's not a horrible idea for a topic, but come on, STOP USING LISTS. Just post 2 or 3 characters and give some justifications for why they are gay.

Dude, but those Hot Pockets breakfast things are NOT that bad. I've gotten them on a few occasions. They make for a great fat injection early in the morning on the way to school.
