Gamefly is having a sale... for gamefly members + free shipping

DarienA

The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
But it looks you can just sign up for the 10 day trial to take advantage of the sale prices. Prices I saw included:

PS2
Spiderman 2 - $14.99
X-Men Legends - $24.99
Star Ocean 3 - $24.99

Xbox
Halo 2 - $29.99
Fable - $24.99
Riddick - $9.99

GC
Paper Mario - $34.99
Tales of Symphonia - $24.99
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life - $14.99

Sale is through 1/9

I swooped up Star Ocean 3 earlier. The Free Shipping is a scam unless you are a member.

I am considering getting SMT Nocturne, heard it came with the soundtrack...

But there are good deals on that site! Except GBA, all lame.

Don't be knockin' it! That there's a quarter of the price of a burrito and a coke at Chipotle. How close are YOU to a burrito? Eh? Eh!

The games are all used though, am I meant to trust that they will be in adequate condition?

Haha...this is Gamefly. A rental service...what do you think :P

To be fair though, Gamefly's games are actually pretty clean compared to Hollywood Video or Blockbuster. This is probably because you need a credit card to actually sign up for the service, and parents are reluctant to sign up on the internet. So the game discs are actually in good condition most of the time, from the 30 day trial that I tried during the summer at least. No kiddies to destroy the game discs by finger prints and other icky things

yea, the games are usually in good condition unless the games old, then it can be a little smudged or scratched but they usually clean off pretty well. The manual and cases are in prime condition though. Gamefly sets them aside and will mail them to you when you buy the game.

Is this to say you actually have to pay shipping if you're not a member? How much is the cheapest option. Oh, and is XIII for XBox worth $8, or how about Hitman Contracts for $10. I've played neither.

Well, I guess they fixed their mistake and gave me back my $2? Or am I reading this wrong. If true, then I take back my statement about them being a scam!

So all is good! I'll be checking out the stocks and see what else is available.
