Shut up.
This has to the most annoying GAF phrase ever.
ghostlyjoe said:It's a fucking expression. What are you, the language police? Can't you find a real problem to be annoyed by?
I like this logic. Though I've always wanted to start a thread that said: "Late to the Hate: <insert game>". Unfortunately (?), it's rare that I pick up old games that I know suck.Bebpo said:This is funny because LTTP isn't even some random phrase. Games aren't parties, but lively game discussion is kinda like a party environment. The idea is that you are late to the group that's chatting about the game, not late to the game itself.
I approve of its usage.

Wow, you're so smart. Please, tell us more about why we suck!Odysseus said:I tend to give people credit for having a brain larger than a squirrel and being able to recognize that FFVI isn't that latest acorn to fall from the tree, but I suppose that may not be true for the average gaffer.

Wario64 said:I like how "late to the party" means you didn't play/buy a game within 1 month of a game's release date. GAF am flavor of the week total.
What bothers me more are the people who post those threads like "OMIGOSH I JUST BOUGHT A (insert console) WUT GAMEZ SHUD I BUY?!?!?!"
