Games at 60 fps on GameCube?

As people have noted...

F-Zero GX is the best choice, I'd say. Prime really benefits as well.

Tales of Symphonia might even be a good choice, as the entire game is 60 fps EXCEPT the world map (which you don't even spend a lot of time on). You could see the difference pretty clearly there...

Super Monkey Ball is a good test case if you (for some foul reason) happen to have the recent PS2 version to go side by side.

I can't be certain which of these are 60fps, but many of them are likely candidates as they have 60hz mode in PAL territories:

1080 Avalanche
Beach Spikers
Billy Hatcher
Bloody Roar: Primal Fury
Bomberman Generations
Burnout
Burnout 2: Point of Impact
Capcom Vs SNK 2 EO
Crazy Taxi
Eternal Darkness
F Zero GX
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Lost Kingdoms 2
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
Phantasy Star Online I II & III
Pokemon Colleseum
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 0
Rocky
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Soul Calibur II
Spiderman
Spy Hunter
Star Fox Adventures
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Smash Bros Melee

Those not at 60 will most likely be locked at 30 to look good at the appropriate refresh rate.

Fixed list...

Beach Spikers
Billy Hatcher
Bloody Roar: Primal Fury
Bomberman Generations
Burnout
Burnout 2: Point of Impact
Capcom Vs SNK 2 EO
Crazy Taxi
Eternal Darkness
F Zero GX
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Soul Calibur II
Star Fox Adventures
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II
Super Smash Bros Melee

Gamecube has more games running at 60fps than games running at 30fps, perhaps it´s Nintendo first party japanase games that runs at 30fps (with exceptión of Mario Kart Double Dash) that do the effect of the all the catalogue in GCN runs at 30fps.

I know Super Mario Sunshine and Resident Evil Remake/Zero are 30 fps. Like you said it's a 60 hz mode, which is not necessarily the games framerate, just the games compatibilty with Pal's 60 hz mode.

F-Zero GX has slowdown. It's rare, but it exists. Boost right after that first second turn coming out of the pyramid in the first Sand Ocean track and it's pretty obvious.

Tales of Symphonia slows down in battle, too, when multiple characters use powerful/showy attacks at the same time (ie: Gravity Well).

Having a 60Hz-Mode has absolutely nothing to do with having 60fps other than that a PAL-game without a 60Hz-mode could never run at 60fps (the original NTSC-version could very well be running at 60fps).

Sonic Heros is 60fps and a good game to see.

In the past, to feel the difference between 30 and 60 frames, I first play Super Smash Bros Melee (60 fps) and next I play Mario Sunshine (30 fps).

It's really notable the difference!

My favourites for 60fps are F-Zero GX, Sonic Adventure 2, Super Monkey Ball and Super Monkey Ball 2.

I thought SFA was 30. It's really not very smooth.
GX, Prime, and Monkey Ball are the smoothest games I've played.
Nope, SFA is 60 fps with very minor slowdown in a few areas. Cutscenes play at a very strange framerate, though (seems like a design choice). Seriously, go take another look if you have forgotten. The game is quite impressive looking (making great use of several GC features that very few other developers ever touched).

I really wish Mario Sunshine had been 60 fps like first promised. :(
Yeah, that original 60 fps footage always makes the disappointment seem even worse. :(

Tell me about it. I remember seeing E3 footage on TV and it being a smooth 60fps. When I bought the game and saw that it was locked at 30, I was severely dissapointed.
