Games that weirdly enough aren't available (anymore) on PC

Congo decent into Zinj

The heart stopping cd rom jungle adventure game. Dodge hidden death traps, battle fearsome temple guards with high tech weaponry. Special effects and 3d graphics so real, you’ll get lost in the jungle forever.

Congo, the game where you are the endangered species.

(Typed this from memory, watched the commercial a million times as a kid) found the YouTube video, pretty close)

BFBC1, 2. Some trilogies must be Remastered like mass effect, the best Remastered series imo.

Oh theres so much, which is why you gotta love "preservation". Nfs Underground up to Carbon, mercenaries 1/2, prey (2006), saints row 1, lotr games like battle for middle earth, sims 1/2, blur, grid (2008, best drift mechanics and visual damage, hands down, im blasting this on deck still), wolfenstein 2009( pretty decent, bit underrated i think), spec ops the line i think also was taken down

A good bunch from the infamous Game for Windows Live era.
Daily reminder that DRMs suck.

You can still get Fable 3 for Steam via amazon, at least that's how I got it a couple of years ago, it was part of a Fable 1 and 3 bundle for PC, you get a code and it activates on Steam. Even got online co-op working, although it took a while to figure out which version of GFWL I had to have installed.

Prey 2006, because apparently they “run out of Steam copies”

They ran out of activation keys. For some reason the publisher only generated a finite number of them at release. You can still find keys in online grey markets.

AFAIK Saints Row 1 was never released because at the time "PC gaming was dead"

And after the Activision purchase I thought Hexen/Heretic and Wolfenstein reunited under one publisher would mean every game available. Nope.
