Games the shouldve gone online

some games were like made for online gaming, but stupidly or for some other reasons the developers didn't do it...

my list:

-Advance Wars DS
-Fire Emblem GC
-Meteos

I prefer advance wars online than Fire Emblem. Fire Emblem is more of as single player oriented game than Advance Wars.

but the problem with AW is that one match could take hours to complete.

that didn't stop CivIV from going online...

there's always a way to make things work

Mario Sunshine? :P
Why not? There could've been a multiplayer mode where the various characters all had waterjet backpacks. I could picture many different play modes that could be fun combining multiplayer with waterjet packs as the weapon/tool.

I´ll go for my classic favorites:

F-Zero - racing against 29 people should be a blast.
Mario Golf (or a high quality golf game) - With an option where you can see how others play while you´ve finished the round.

yeah.. Mario Golf would've rocked online...

I think Nintendo should work on a Mario Olympics game, where they tweak the Mario sports games that's already on the GC, and put them in one disc for the REV. make them all online ofcourse

I just said something like this days ago. Although I was talking about a "real" olimpic game. The Revowand could do wonders in a game like that!

I disagree with Advance Wars. The game just takes too long. And throw in the fact that you're playing random people over the internet... A game would never get finished.

This thread shouldn't have even been made because EVERY multiplayer game should have an option to play against other people online.

I dunno, I kinda feel that almost all fighting games lose something for being online. And it's not a matter of "at least they added it" either, because honestly I'd rather not even waste the time then meet a subpar experience.

Pikmin for co-op

Command and Conquer Red Alert :( This would be the PERFECT online game for Xbox Live

edit - crap! I just thought of Red Alert being available on Xbox Live Arcade with full multiplayer mode. Best idea ever :(

My vote would be for any of the Thief games...

Spys v Mercs in Splinter Cell showed that stealth-based multiplayer can be done really well.

Playing Thief in a vs multiplayer scenario, would be fantastic IMHO, where the goal is not for frags but swag :lol

Why are all but five or so titles named so far from Nintendo?

Seriously it should be every game. Who cares.

Though I'd never use it. If I want to interact with other people, I don't try to use videogames as the medium.

The only game I'm thinking about now(and it haven't been released as yet, but..

Gundam SEED: Rengou Vs. ZAFT

Games like Tekken, VF, and SC I'm quite happy with offline.

phantom crash

fable (have it feel like diablo battle net :))

mashed

pokemon (make it BIG)

nintendogs (sending items and stuff at least)

Freedom force

high octane racing (new one could be cool)

elder scrolls

Zoids (zoids MMO please)

I tend to think though it would be nice most of the multiplayer nintendo games benefit greatly in fun factor by playing WITH people, but I also see the attraction to online with things like smash bros.. if that makes sense... tired

A lot of Nintendo games, but it was obvious long ago that they didn't care on the GC.

GT4. That's the biggest offline dissapointment this gen after all the talk.

Dai Senryaku on Xbox. Wipeout or Ridge Racer on PSP.

Advance Wars on DS should have play by email and map trading online. That's the most brilliant move on handheld strategy I've seen recently (can't remember the name of the new PSP game coming with it.)

Warcraft
Final Fantasy
Front Mission
Wipeout
Twisted Metal
Diablo series
Dungeons and Dragons (3.0 and Eberron)
Civ series
The Sims
Ultima series
