People seem to be getting very excited about the Gamescom awards. Whether it be people claiming Sony "moneyhatted" them to give Cyberpunk the best PlayStation game award, or just that the XSX won this award.
At the best of times these kind of awards are meaningless, but these results aren't as hard to parse when you realise
1. Only official exhibitors of Gamescom are eligible
2. Sony wasn't an official exhibitor this year
Given that criteria both results I mentioned make perfect sense and there are no conspiracies and more importantly, no meaning to these awards

I was legitimately asking the question. I wasn't taking a dig at anybody. I'm surprised they even had a physical show floor with everything going on.
