Gamespot complete

I was thinking of just signing up for E3 but calling by phone is not practical as I live in another country (Australia).

The thing that sucked about Gamespot though (at least what happened to me last year, I don't know whether they changed it), was that the cancellation is immediate; so if you have a year long subscription, it doesn't run it out; you stop getting service immediately.

Personally, I'd wait until after E3 and cancel.

gamespot doesnt have their own forum to post this in? :lol

i think its called "Ask gamespot"

True, sorry.

There are a few people here wanting to do the same thing though (and have done so in the past) so I figured it would be a smart place to ask.

Call them, maybe you can talk to Kasavin.

It'd be tempting to speak to him even at international rates, just so I could abuse shit out of him over that HL2 review.

I'd think you'd be safer cancelling your credit card.

It's $6.95 for a month and $6.95 is all they'll get. If they try to fuck me over I'll just get my bank to block any attempted transactions on their part. Simple.

Wow, $7 for a month? It's like $19.95 for an entire year. Complete members get $10 off their E3 dvd set and 10% off at the EB website, so it pays for itself, and I really do use it year-round.

how long did they take to produce their last E3 dvd? I don't remember exactly but it took like 3 months last time?

Can I cancel this online or do I have to ring them up?
Ring them up and ring them up again and again and again - at least, thats what I had to do. After I e-mailed them the first time to cancel they kept charging me. Then I called them and got a cancellation e-mail to verify - they still kept charging me. This happened again and again. Took them 4 tries and 5 months to get it right. Still got ripped off an additional month, not that that extra 5 bucks broke the bank, just their incompetence that pissed me off. Good Luck!
