I’m sure more questions will come out of this than answers...
I would not count on getting a free 360 (this year), Sony usually will give out a couple of games and that stupid big ass blow up chair, Nintendo, maybe you will see a free DS's (again)..

The meetings with Dick and Dan are always very good, as well as the HR meeting's with David Shuart (sp?).

Hopefully you will be able to play demos of 360 stuff...

Maybe new POS this year? (Been promised for years) - Or maybe switch to a modified EB POS...

Hopefully B.R.I.A.N. will go away soon (If it has not already)....

If anyone was curious hes talking about the Annual gamestop store manager conference in Dallas Texas this week.

And the OP is a retard for thinking everyone knows what B.R.I.A.N. is.. and if you were a good store manager you woulda read the xbox 360 faq that came in corporate emails 2 weeks ago saying we were getting the EB POS next year.. gj gtfo gg I WIN!

Thank. Fucking. God. In-store I like GS more personally (at least where I live now), but their POS is a POS (LOL!) from what I've seen. I have pre-ordered games at Gamestop, but since they don't track any of that in the computer like EB does (IE they can't pull up your name and pull up your preorders and whatnot), I had four games in a row that I spent a half hour in there waiting for because they couldn't find my preorder slip, despite me having my copy (I think it was SO3, Paper Mario, SMT Nocturne, and Fable). On Fable the manager was finally just like "give him a copy, he's in here enough anyway."

I hate my local EB, but they get my preorders solely for this reason. Please say this is fixed Gamestop.

They did give managers free X-box's when the X-box was coming out, I think it's very likely.

Excellent. EB uses JDA and WinMMS I believe. Not that it's superbly tailored to a VG specialty dealer, but it's by far better than that unholy custom grown app they use at GS.

Plus nintendo is by far the most generous of all the company's in terms of givnig free stuff to store managers..

BTW: Gamestops system is DOS based LAFF

and a smart store would organize slips in a small card file catalog by game title in alphabetical order.

Ah yes. This conference is the reason my employment with Gamestop will be delayed by one week. I work another retail job right now that I can really hate at times, so I'm looking forward to getting into this.
