You need to have plenty of things going on in order to truly be a woman’s first choice.

It’s probably the difference between a movie aficionado who might go to film festivals and be interested in deep discussion and analysis, host movie nights with friends, go to the theater as a date, etc., and “I watch a lot of TV,” which just signals a passive activity and not valuing your time.I am genuinely curious why is Movies twice as attractive as watching TV, and on par with concerts and theater.
I guess it's primarily seen as outdoors activity and people fail to notice the men who spend 10s of thousands on the Movie cave at home?
Like - my brother has a home-theater the size of an apartment at home...

I watch a lot of TV myself and most nights my wife gets the remote and I made it through another season of The Bachelorette this evening, as we watch it recorded to skip commercials

Some women (with a particular aesthetic sensibility) think they want a man with feminine behavior, hobbies, views, etc. They get with one and quickly get bored of him and go on to the next one, until they understand only narcissists are attracted to clones of themselves, and they'll be a lot better with some random beer chugging dude than the gay friend they were kind of attracted to in college.
That doesn't mean of course that men can't have a feminine side or women are only attracted to machist manosphere boys, but opposites attract and again only a narcissist could stand to be in a relationship with a copy of themselves.

I like gaming but I also do combat sports regularly, my wife loves gardening but she also rock climbs with me. We are all human and we like different things.

If u check women targetted forums u will see some real nastiness and manipulation, man, compared to that even gaffers who get banned on a regular basis seem like naive angels
Not to get too off-track here, but I've seen some significant negative effects from manosphere/red pill influence in the real world at times. Guys taking bad advice, idolizing the Tate type characters, and acting very poorly to women as a conscious strategy (and not in the confident flirty way). So it may have a bad rep with women for that reason. That's not to say that everything about that mindset should be disregarded or that everyone in that subculture is a bad influence. The advice to work on your career and fitness and mindset et al is good. And certainly don't take advice from the predominant Western culture right now that says stoicism is Toxic Masculinity and men should be as vulnerable as possible, either. It's a trap.
Those intense internet subculture bubbles all tend to get warped over time, because there isn't the moderating influence of the real world or people outside of the bubble. Take what you find useful and bounce rather than immersing in it 24/7.

For 20 plus years I lived a very high stress life with deployments, training dets and so on, what I want to do to relax shouldn’t matter to my significant other if I am handling all my responsibilities.
Like I told my wife when we were engaged, don’t ask me to stop things I enjoy doing and I preface this that my hobbies are reading, running, fishing, hiking, skydiving, rock climbing, and gaming somewhat as I have never been a heavy gamer, that I will choose my happiness over your ass everyday of the week.
It’s worked out for 25 years now, we still are school children around each other, we wrestle, do a lot of my hobbies together, have probably the same or even more private time together as our kids are grown and I’ve never had a complaint about the man I am.
Be yourself and fuck anyone who doesn’t care or love you for who you are and the things that give you comfort and happiness in your daily life.
